This tool allows you to model the potential outcomes of course-taker progress to certification based on course-takers course history and your inputs of ACUE courses you may offer:
Select the courses you’re considering offering next.
See how many faculty can become certified or make progress toward certification based on their prior course history.
Identify faculty who are close to certification and offer the courses they need.
View a list of faculty eligible for upcoming courses to help with strategic recruitment.
"Targeted Recruiting" tab is available under the "Transcript Report" menu.
Click "Select Courses" button to open a dialog with the list of all available course options.
Start selecting courses to see how many faculty can become certified or make progress toward certification based on your selection in the real time.
If you you have recently partnered with ACUE and do not have past course-takers, you will see the message "No eligible course-takers identified for selected courses" and will not be able to proceed.
Upon submission, a detailed list of faculty will be generated and available to you for review. Each record appears with the following details:
Course-taker name
Course-taker email address
Status after courses
"ETPF Certificate" (Certificate in Effective Teaching Practice Framework) - based on course-taker history, by taking courses you selected, course-taker will achieve certification
"Advanced ETPF Certificate" (Advanced Certificate in Effective Teaching Practice Framework) - by taking courses you selected, course-taker will achieve advanced certification
"Progress to Certification" - faculty will make progress towards certification but will still need other courses to get certified
"Progress to Advanced Certification" - course-taker either already is certified or will be certified by taking the courses you selected, and will make progress towards Advanced Certification
"No Progress" - course-taker is eligible for at least one of the courses you selected, however taking that course will not achieve progress towards certification. For example, this status will appear for course-takers who are not yet certified and took the in-class version of the course and are eligible for online version of the same course, or vice versa.
"FCB Certificate" - certificate for completing "Fostering a Culture of Belonging" course.
Courses the course-taker is eligible for based on their history
Courses the course-taker completed, are currently enrolled in or are accepted to participate in
The list of course-takers can be exported with the same details.
To model the potential certification outcomes, the tool assumes:
Course-takers will successfully complete courses in which they are currently enrolled.
Course-takers on the “accepted” list of a finalized roster will successfully complete that course.
Course-takers choose to enroll in the courses that maximize certification outcomes (e.g. selecting a comprehensive course over a single pathway course).
Course-takers have the opportunity to complete all courses selected for which they are eligible
Course-takers cannot complete all selected courses if they are scheduled concurrently rather than consecutively.
Course-takers cannot take courses with overlapping content.
